In the 1920s, farmers charged the same prices as urban drivers for their car benefits despite less injuries and lawsuits than local vehicles. In order to provide premiums that adequately mirrored agricultural driving activities, the farm office in Ohio chose to form a private insurance agency. It secured a business license for Ohio on the 10th of April 1926, two days later received a $10,000 loan from Ohio Farm Bureau's membership dues. The Farm Bureau secured a $20000 loan through the Ohio Farm Bureau.
