Coronavirus Update : 50 districts of the Bangladesh completely locked down .The government took area-based lockdown to prevent infection with the coronavirus. Based on the number of victims, hygiene and legal measures will be implemented by identifying the red zone, yellow zone and green area.

The government's Information and Communication Technology Department website displays the country's three divisions, 50 districts and 400 upazilas as red zones or full lockdown. Five divisions, 13 districts and 19 upazilas display yellow zone or partial lockdown. And one district and 75 upazilas are not shown to be green zone or lockdown.

Gazipur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Madaripur, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Rajbari, Shariatpur and Tangail are fully locked into the latest updated list displayed on the Information and Communication Technology Department website through the combined efforts of 10 partner organizations and teams including the Health Ministry. Only Dhaka and Faridpur are termed partial lockdowns in this section.

In the Barisal division Barguna, Barisal, Patuakhali and Pirojpur are called as a complete lockdown. In the Barisal division Bhola and Jhalokati were called partial lockdowns.

The Chittagong division's Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Comilla, Cox's Bazar, Feni, Khagrachhari, Laxmipur and Noakhali are called full lockdown. That division's Bandarban, Chittagong, and Rangamati were called partial lockdowns.

Chuadanga, Jessore, Khulna, Meherpur, Narail and Satkhira are called a complete lockdown inside the Khulna division. That division's Bagerhat, Kushtia, and Magura are called partial lockdowns. Jhenaidah has been identified as the Khulna division's only green zone, or not lockdown.

There is an entire lockdown in Rajshahi division between Bogra, Joypurhat, Naogaon, Natore and Rajshahi. That division's Chapainawabganj, Pabna, and Sirajganj are called partial lockdowns.

All eight division districts in Rangpur are called full lockdown. The districts are Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Panchagarh, Rangpur and Thakurgaon.

All division districts of Sylhet i.e. Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj and Sylhet are called full lockdown.

All of the Mymensingh division districts are also called full lockdown. Those are Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Netrokona and Sherpur districts.

The website displays 38 Dhaka metropolitan areas as yellow zone or partial lockdown. 11 Areas do not represent a green zone or a lockdown. So far no Dhaka area is displayed as a red zone or a complete lockdown.

Adabar, Thana, Uttara East, Uttara West, Wari, Kadamtali, Kalabagan, Kafrul, Kamrangirchar, Kotwali, Khilkhet, Gulshan, Gandaria, Chawkbazar, Demra, Tejgaon, Dakshin are the 38 areas that are identified as Dhaka Yellow Zone or partial lockdown. Sabujbag, Sutrapur, Darussalam, Dhanmondi, Newmarket, Paltan Model, Pallabi, Bangshal, Badda, Airport, Bhatara, Mirpur Model, Mugda, Mohammadpur, Jatrabari, Ramna Model, Lalbagh, Shahali, Shahjahanpur, Sher-e - Bangla Nagar.


Uttarkhan Thana, Cantonment Thana, Khilgaon, Turag, Banani, Bahantech, Motijheel, Rampura, Rupnagar, Shahbag, and Shampur Thana are the 11 areas identified as non-green zone or lockdown.

63,026 people were infected with corona in the country until Saturday, according to the Department of Health 's latest newsletter. 846 people have died in the country due to coronavirus.
