Google Conference Call

Google Conference Call is a phone call in which someone speaks to a few people at the same time. Google Conference Call may be designed to allow a spoken party to take part in a call, or a call may be made so that the calling party can only hear the call and not speak. This is sometimes referred to as ATC (Audio Teleconference).

Google Conference Call may be designed in such a way that the caller calls other participants and adds them to the call; however, participants are usually able to call the conference by dialing the telephone number attached to the Conference Bridge (a special type of device connected to the telephone line).

Companies typically use a professional service provider that operates a telephone bridge or offers phone numbers and PIN codes that participants dial to access a meeting or Google Conference call. This service providers will also dial-out users, link them to call and add them to the on-line groups.Operators may also take additional information, such as question and answer data, and also allow and disable advanced conferencing features, such as muting lines, muting participants and enabling recording features. An operator will also be called to a conference call operated by a service provider using a combination of keys on the user's (sometimes just moderator's) telephone keypad.

A more restricted three-way call is possible (usually at an extra charge) on your home or office phone lines. The first party called is dialed for a three-way call. Then the flash button of the hook (or the undo button) is pressed and the phone number of the other party is dialed. While it's ringing, flash / recall is pressed again to bind the three people together. This choice allows callers to add a second outgoing call to a call that is already connected.
